Development goals and directions

A Comprehensive University Space Center
The Center for Astronautical Physics and Engineering (CAPE) is dedicated to becoming a Comprehensive University Space Center and establishing the nation’s comprehensive talent development pipeline for space science and the space industry.
We cultivate next-generation space leaders to support national strategy across industry, government, academia, and research institutions. By autonomously developing space components, payloads, and CubeSats, we assist domestic suppliers in building robust satellite systems and subsystem supply chains. Integrating satellite constellations with ground receivers, we participate in global observation through international partnerships.
"Cutting-edge space technology supports frontier space science; frontier space science drives cutting-edge space technology."
